The next few reading circles will be dedicated to the discussion of "The Hundred Years' War on Palestine" by the Palestinian-American historian Rashid Khalidi.

The upcoming circle on the 3rd of April covers the second (The Second Declaration of War, 1947–1948 ) and the third chapter (The Third Declaration of War, 1967) of the book.

The reading circle usualla takes place on the first Wednesday of every month in Muzej suvremene umjetnosti (venue Baunet). This time, the International Worker’s Day/May Day, on which we commemorate the Haymarkett affair and celebrate the workers of the world, falls on the first Wednesday of the month.

For that reason, the upcoming reading circle in May will be held on Friday, the 3rd of May, from 5 to 7pm.

The discussion will probably primarily be held in Croatian, but we can and gladly will accommodate and include English speakers as well. If you couldn’t read the material for any reason, we still urge you to come - the discussion will be inclusive, interesting and educational.

During this reading circle we will also organize a modest iftar since numerous members of our Initiative are fasting for Ramadan or taking part in the "Fast for Gaza" action.
